SOLO EXHIBITION - Silvana Barrios Pereyra

Join us in welcoming Silvana Barrios Pereyra

March 20 - April 19, 2026
Opening Reception - April 3, 5-7 PM

Silvana Barrios Pereyra is a San Diego–based sculptor working primarily in porcelain, drawn to the material for its paradoxical nature — fragile yet enduring, delicate yet resilient. Through hand-built forms, she explores the tension between vulnerability and strength, allowing each piece to retain the trace of the hand that shaped it.

Her recent body of work expands into wall installations and her evolving series Singularities — sculpted faces that emerge as intimate studies of presence, identity, and quiet emotion. These works shift porcelain from object to encounter, inviting viewers into moments of reflection and psychological stillness.

Barrios Pereyra’s sculptures have been exhibited at the San Diego Art Walk, Carlsbad Art Walk, Coastal Art Studio Tour, and the Beverly Hills Art Show. Her work has been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, recognizing her ability to transform material into poetic form.

Defined by luminous surfaces, subtle textures, and material honesty, her practice is an invitation to pause — to witness fragility not as weakness, but as a form of quiet power.
