Cyanotype is a photographic printing technique using non-toxic solution and the sun’s UV rays. We will demonstrate the printing process on various papers, fabric and canvas. You will go home with an assortment of beautiful new art and craft pieces! All supplies are included but if you have something personal you’d like to experiment printing with, or your favorite fauna, please bring it!

The cyanotype solution activates as soon as it comes into contact with the sun, so please consider wearing paint-friendly clothes, or an apron. Just outside the studio there are tables, so feel free to bring snacks and a cold beverage. Or take a break anytime and check out Liberty Station’s amazing food court, it’s just a short walk away.
