ABOUT SHERI

Sheri Hayes was born and raised in southern California where she still resides. Her career as an artist is steeped in her love for the outdoors. When Sheri was young and in school, she focused on ceramics and photography. As she moved into a career, she unexpectedly fell into sailing and obtained a Captain’s license. It was during that time that her love for the sea grew. Later in life Sheri's career took another unexpected turn. She became a professional golfer an award-winning golf coach and teacher. She has been named as one of the top 50 female instructors in the nation. Sheri's time is now spent between coaching amateur golfers and painting Plein air and at her home studio. When not engaged in those two activities Sheri can be found hiking, backpacking, or simply enjoying nature, all of which inspires her artistry.
